As a democrat, who lives in LD 15, I hope you clean her clock. I met her (at an AEA event) when she ran as a Green. I asked her why she why she was not running as a democrat. She told me "If I ran as a democrat my base would know I'm a whore", class (or is it crass) act. She is the kind of democrat that has driven our base in to the arms of the GOP. I am sick and tired of these greens masquerading as Democrats. Then to add insult to injury she has the gall to speak as a democrat. If she starts to tell you that the supper left of the Democratic party won this election just remind her that the Blue Dog Democrats won the House and Senate (Montana, Penn and CT) Not a leftist in the bunch. Go Joe Lieberman!!
Many of us in the Democratic Party don't find her witty, I think she will have a challenger in 08. Color me Blue, as a Blue Dog Democrat .

Because the Dems have paraded her as their poster child for all things blue. Sunday Square Off should be "co-starring Kyrsten Sinema" she is on there so often! She is rude, loud, arrogant past the point of confidence, and marginalizes woman who do not fit her specific style at every opportunity. I do not appreciate the use of vulgarity on these forums but this is one person who is hard to describe without the use of such lewd terms. In her case, it is not just an attempt to disparage another but an accurate description of her self-described public behaviors and personal attributes of which she is so very proud. Anyone who uses their sexuality as a vehicle for self-promotion; be it gay, straight, celibit, or whatever floats your boat, that person is nothing more than a prostitute....using their sexuality for favor or promotion.

I would like nothing more than to see the Democrats call her out but they never will. She would cause such an uproar and polarize the far left base that it would damage whatever unity they have. They would have to admit they do not like her behavior, language, and deprecating remarks. The Dems should call her out, they should run someone to take her place and then they should run her out on a rail.....but they never will and she knows it.

The only way they will ever understand who she truly is would be for the Spanish language media to realize that family centric people are being represented by a woman who is antithetical to their values. She's so shameless! If you have to rough her up, don't feel compelled to hold back - those rules of etiquette only apply to women and well, she's the one who defined herself... I think if you practice, you could problably find a dignified way to slap her across the face. I'll chip in for your defense. Aah Kyrsten Simena, the clown princess of Arizona politics. I remember receiving a letter endorsed by her and her partner David Lujan paid for by Robert Meza and Chad Cambell and Debbie McCune Davis right before the democratic primary for LD-14 bashing their opponent. I'm a life long Democrat and have followed Arizona politics for a long time, and I have never seen dirty politics as bad as was in that letter. These four who were supposed to be darlings in the gay community, accused their opponent of being gay, a drug addict and child molester without any kind of proof. It was gay bating at its worse. Which shows me that she is not only a self-absorbed ego driven know-it-all that knows nothing, but also a major hypocrite as well. Hopefully the next election will put a end to the Sinema dog and pony show. I will be watching Sunday.

I think Blue Dog Democrat should just leave the party. Afterall, what good could he be to the cause when he just regurgitates all the conservative national media talking points that it was "conservative democrats" who won the election. Other than Mr. Schuler in NC, not one can be called even a moderate. Mr. Tester and Mr. Webb are darlings of the netroots and the DailyKos. Tester and Webb are pro-choice and for a radically different approach in Iraq. But they are both pro-gun, as am I. THAT'S why they are spun as moderates or even conservatives. Let's see what they do on trade, huh?

Yarmuth in Kentucky? McNerney in California? Shea-Porter in New Hampshire? Hmmm, yeah, if you think they are moderate, then it's good news for me as a leftist.

I know Ms. Sinema and I am a huge supporter of hers. She speaks truth to power and if she wasn't running clean I would have maxed her out. She is for change and is a truly progressive Democrat with a spine. Any Democrat willing to stand up to the rightwing is savaged like her. She also did a wonderful job fighting against the discrimination that was Prop 107, which would have been the first step in the eventual sending of us to the camps, which is what the far right really wants.

If you are such a fan of Kirsten Sinema, do you defend her vulgarity laced diatribe calling stay-at-home moms "leaches"? If you will not denounce this statement or condemn Sinema or the statement, then your opinion is worth the air it is written on. This is why the reign of the Democrats will be short lived.

Ms. Sinema was speaking about SOME (not all) of the gas-guzzling, pro-war, suburban Republican hausfraus who haven't had to work a day in their lives and are for tax cuts even though we have deficits and boys fighting in Iraq. Those stay-at-home moms are for the war because their 16yo sons aren't in the military.

Now, in fairness, these voters voted Bush in 2004, but many saw the light and voted for Dems in 2006. Also, in fairness, Sinema made her statement prior to the election, when these voters' hypocracy was still evident vis-a-vis the position the country found itself in in an unwinnable war and everyone buying seven-mile-to-the gallon HUmmers.

Look at what she said in context and be aware that she wasn't saying ALL stay-at-home moms. My mom was a stay-at-home as well. But she didn't support a war for oil whilst driving around little Tucker and Tyler and Kyle in a gas guzzling SUV.

I see you forgot the CT & PENN Senate races; Joe whipped the supper lefts darling fanny. He beat him in almost every group of voters 30 and older (the people who vote). Joe won the Protestant, Catholic and Jewish vote across the board. Same for the Penn race, Casey is a liberal, huh? Tester in MT was a long shot and was asked by the DSCC to drop out. To vote is one thing, to actively support the Green ticket is another. To work against Gore/Lieberman was to help BUSH. If Gore won (and he did) we would not be in IRAQ. Were you a Green? Did you vote for Nader? Are you one of those socialists who realized they could not win in any election so you & your “fellow travelers” became Democrats? The Democrats don’t need the Greens, the Greens need the Democrats to give them cover. I was in CT when Joe beat Lowell Weiker, and I was in Tucson when the Greens protested the Pima County HQ. They were carrying signs that read “AL GORE KILLS IRAQI KIDS” Ask Tedski and Tomski about that, I am sure they remember it too. Hell; Jim Pederson even said Kyrsten Sinema was too extreme for central Phoenix in a piece paid for by the Arizona Democratic Party.

You have a lot of gall telling any one to leave the Party, you and the left need to realize one thing; Democrats never win elections with out the Roman Catholic vote. Never have and never will. The FDR coalition was built on Roman Catholic, Union, Jewish, Southern Democratic, and working Democratic voters. That is the alliance that has won it for us this time.

I grow weary with you watermelons who would rather look good and lose. The people who are reading this blog are EXACTLY the people Democrats need to be reaching out too. With the exception of the 5 Issues of Conscious (3rd trimester abortion, fetal stem cell research, the capitol punishment, Gay marriage and euthanasia) Democrats win.
