John Dougherty, Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Tucson Chamber, has been diagnosed with bone cancer. Last summer, John fought back against melanoma skin cancer, but it has returned in his spine. He thanks you all for the great support and prayers received from colleagues across the state and wants people to know he’s fighting back and will conquer cancer.
Chemotherapy keeps him from his usual schedule of spending a lot of time in Phoenix, but he continues to work, and can be reached at the Tucson Chamber’s offices. John is in great hands at University Medical Center and the doctors at the Arizona Cancer Center. For those of you who know him well, his optimism is higher than ever and he’s in great spirits. John will be back at the capitol soon and will keep fighting for Tucson’s business community at the legislature.
Good post.
