Are we really surprised at the article? The open borders crowd never lets a thing like facts, accuracy and truth stand in their way.

The problem is that this is an editorial not a news article. I am sure it wasn't on the op-ed page.

As an editorial it is what it is.

If it is being stuck in the newspaper as 'news', it fails the test.

I read it as an editorial - which is what it is.

Unfortunately, it was the A-1 news story yesterday. I am now a former subscriber thanks to the Republic's immigration-related demagoguery of the last week.

Goeff,

We need classes in school to teach students how to read the newspaper. Fortunately, the Republic provides the papers free for that purpose. Now we need to actually use them and help students understand the difference between 'news' and 'opinions'.

Actually my friends who teach 4th grade already do this - it is called teaching the difference between 'facts' and 'opinions'.

I wish the sheriff would have had contact
with wison gilberto alba-cano and eladio reza before they had contact with two young
children!!
