Arizona is towards the top of the foreclosure chart.
There's a new Arizona Supreme Court program called, "Lawyers Helping Homeowners" that pairs volunteer lawyers with clients to "negotiate a loan to save a home."
Chief Justice McGregor announced this program at her "State of the Judiciary" address last week.
Here's the link. www.azlawhelp.org

I get that foreclosures are up, but 1.5% of all homeowners hardly seems like an epidemic. Lots of these folks couldn't afford their home and will go back to renting like they were before.

John, If you have 1,000 homes in your square mile - you have between 15-16 homes up for foreclosure.
Sounds like a problem to me.
