There are plenty of criminals to go around. Get over it with the alien talk...

Yes; it's much better when the drunken drivers are U.S.-born and bred.

Too bad the AZ Republic had the headline of the article with a typo through out the morning on AZcentral. "Accident" was "Accidnet" - Something spell check or an editor should have caught.

That sounds like hate to me.

Jane,

Assuming you might have children I hope you
keep them away from Drunken illegals!!

Nick,

Whereas drunken red-blooded American citizens are A-OK?

Those that think the frustration is simply about bashing the illegals, it isn't.

If that person wasn't here illegally, One daughter would still be alive and 1 son would be uninjured.

Yes, American citizens do commit these crimes. They punished, as they should be, but a large majority of the illegals simply go back to Mexico or buy another ID and move to another state once they make bail.

"If that person wasn't here illegally, One daughter would still be alive and 1 son would be uninjured."

Fallacy. You have no way of knowing that. If you believe in God, and believe that nothing happens without his consent or desire, if it hadn't been an illegal drunk driver, it might have been something else that ended their lives.

"Yes, American citizens do commit these crimes. They punished, as they should be, but a large majority of the illegals simply go back to Mexico or buy another ID and move to another state once they make bail."

I think the laws that have been changed to disallow illegals from getting bail for capital crimes.

Klute,

No, it is not a Fallacy. It is a fact. If that driver had not been at that place at that specific time, that accisent would not have happend.

Now, Coukld a light pole have mysteriously broken and crashed on top of the car? Yes. Could there have been a different drunk driver? Yes. Are any of those things likely to have happend at that point in time? No!

Your thoughts on God lead me to believe that you feel he controls everything in this world at every second of the day. Read the Bible, we have choices and suffer the consquences or reap the rewards of those choices. Do you really feel that way? Do you feel that God desires to have people go into schools and shoot to kill? Do you really believe that God is ok with a man raping a woman?

Logical1,

"Now, Coukld a light pole have mysteriously broken and crashed on top of the car? Yes. Could there have been a different drunk driver? Yes. Are any of those things likely to have happend at that point in time? No!"

And you know this due to your new-found powers of omniscience?

What I said was:

"***If*** you believe in God, and believe that nothing happens without his consent or desire..."

The impression that one gets of Greg's faith is that God is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. Therefore, if not God's hand in this accident, then what?
