First, there was K-12. That covered kids from about 5 to about 17. Now the Governor has announced a continuation of Governor Napolitano’s P-20 program--that’s Preschool to age 20. Soon we really will have the proverbial cradle to grave—leaving only one possible additional iteration--Erection to Resurrection.
Is this P - 20 a requirement of accepting stimulus dollars?

P-20 has been around for years. It has no connection to the stimulus. As for what they do and how it helps education? Hmmmmmm.....

I believe the new call for the P-20 is in response to the stimulus dollars and for that purpose.

Get your facts straight: P-20 refers to preschool to 4 years post college (roughly PhD). K-12 means through HS, K-16 through college, you get the idea.
More importantly, we can continue our third rate educational system and maintain our status as a backwater location for call centers (and compete with India for those jobs). Or perhaps we could aspire to something better than that. But that would cost money. Nothing worth having is free....
