The liberal site FDL supports the Public Option on health care reform but the authors are unhappy with the way the vote has been managed. The site lists 20 Democrats who are in danger of losing their seats over the vote. Two of those 20 members--Harry Mitchell and Ann Kirkpatrick--are from Arizona.
I would add a third Democrat to that endangered list, but we won't really know until later this week.
It seems that it is swimming upstream but I would hope that the best Republican would win not just the Republican who has been elected most often.

Hamsher has been right in much of what she has been saying about health care through this whole mess. Largely because the press has only been reporting on the opposition from the right and the complaints that have been coming from there, the issue of 'mandating' people buy insurance with no credible cost containment measure or public alternative to private insurance is going to likely be the largest area of dissatisfaction over this travesty that is about to be made law.
