Babeu's political future is still up in the air for three reasons: 1) he's bright, articulate, and motivated for some good reasons [I like his conservative stands]; 2) gays are rallying around him [Jim Kolbe and more will jump on board. This is also an excellent example of leftist hypocrisy. They trumpet tolerance, but don't practice it]; 3) the Arizona Republic has yet to decide what direction they are going to go. They consistently endorse gays, but Babeu's conservative credentials have them in a flux [see #2].
I could forgive misuse of a cellphone. The deportation threats are another thing but I am growing skeptical by the day regarding the credibility of those accusations.
It looks like Daniel Patterson is back to his old tricks of beating up on women again. When will this scumbag be impeached from the State House? And will the State Supreme Court try to invent a new power again for itself if he does get impeached & decide that it now randomly has the authority for oversight with Legislative impeachments too like it invented an authority it didn't have to reverse the legitimate removal of a member of the "I"RC.
He has a future? That's a very generous statement, Greg. I've been referring to him as a politician with a past.

House Minority Leader Chad Campbell has, rightfully (and it's about time), for Daniel Patterson to resign.
Tyler: your other thoughts are right on.
