It's tough to get things right all the time. So I would hope that folks who make mistakes like this would show a little compassion when candidates make mistakes in their literature, or "lightening round" answers.
Everyone knows that Ken Bennett wasn't the Arizona Treasurer. He was a back up singer for the Osmond Family (See his biography "The 12th Osmond") Then he ran for Mine Inspector but was defeated after his bumper sticker "I Hart Mining" was misunderstood by the electorate and led to the meteoric rise of the current mine inspector Joe Hart. Bennett is pictured above at the exact moment her learns that he has recently surpassed Mark Flatten and Dick Foreman for the honor of being the last Arizona Public Figure to still have a center-part haircut.
Oh, and he was also the Secretary of State.
And plays a mean guitar...
...and would be a really good Congressman.
